Ashley Clark has over a decade of experience treating clients in an orthopedic setting. She is a graduate of the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Medical Rehabilitation with a degree in Physical Therapy. She grew up playing just about every sport but her heart stuck with hockey. You can still find her out on the ice with her rec hockey team!

Sports injuries were her first glimpse of physiotherapy and it seemed like the perfect career choice. Her favorite thing about being a physiotherapist is seeing someone achieve something they thought they couldn’t after an injury or surgery.

Ashley is trained in acupuncture, integrated dry needling, TMJ assessment and treatment, custom orthotics, and return to work programs. She is competent in treating all age ranges, work related injuries (WCB), and post motor vehicle accidents (MPI). She is passionate about continuing education and has completed many courses on the foot and ankle, knee, hip, hand/wrist, elbow, and shoulder. She has extra training in Parkinson’s and cancer rehabilitation.

Heath graduated from the University of Manitoba, with his Bachelor of Science (2011), and Bachelor of Kinesiology - Athletic Therapy (2014). While in school, Heath had an internship with the Winnipeg Jets and got to learn from the team’s therapists while working hands on. “At that level, the guys want help from someone they can trust. The players believed in the treatment plans and rehab programs, and the results made them ecstatic to get back on the ice so soon!” He has subsequently built up his resume by working for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers during the 2014 and 2015 seasons as the Assistant Athletic Therapist. “I travelled with the team, and covered all practices and games. It was my job to run out and see to a player if they got injured on the field.” Heath plays tennis 3-4x per week, and by being a part of Testify Taylor, he is well versed on tennis-related injuries. -The thing I want most for people to know is that Athletic Therapists treat more than only athletes. We are specialized to manage, and help facilitate the rehabilitation of any musculoskeletal injury. There is a wide range of pathologies we treat: from acute injuries to chronic pain. So whether you just sprained your ankle, pulled something in your back, or have nagging tennis elbow pain, Athletic Therapy can help you!
