Sara Winzinowich graduated from the University of Manitoba’s Master of Physical Therapy Program.

Sara grew up playing many sports, her favorite being ringette. Sara still plays ringette, a sport that emphasizes the values of teamwork, determination, and communication. Her connection to sports fueled her desire to pursue a career in Physiotherapy.

During her academic journey she had the privilege of working with clients of all ages and in various settings in both Manitoba and British Columbia. Sara is familiar with various treatment techniques including manual therapy and exercise therapy. She was also involved with volunteering with Sport Physiotherapy Manitoba, an experience that provided valuable insight into sports rehabilitation. Sara has taught GLAD exercise classes for hip and knee osteoarthritis.

She is thrilled to be joining the team at RINK Testify Performance where she can combine her love of physical activity and passion for helping individuals achieve their goals. When Sara is not at the RINK you can find her playing team sports, camping or spending quality time with her friends and family.

Ashley Gusberti has over a decade of experience treating clients in an orthopedic setting. She is a graduate of the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Medical Rehabilitation with a degree in Physical Therapy. She grew up playing just about every sport but her heart stuck with hockey. You can still find her out on the ice with her rec hockey team!

Sports injuries were her first glimpse of physiotherapy and it seemed like the perfect career choice. Her favorite thing about being a physiotherapist is seeing someone achieve something they thought they couldn’t after an injury or surgery.

Ashley is trained in acupuncture, integrated dry needling, TMJ assessment and treatment, custom orthotics, and return to work programs. She is competent in treating all age ranges, work related injuries (WCB), and post motor vehicle accidents (MPI). She is passionate about continuing education and has completed many courses on the foot and ankle, knee, hip, hand/wrist, elbow, and shoulder. She has extra training in Parkinson’s and cancer rehabilitation.

Dr Cassan is a Naturopathic Doctor bringing a fresh perspective to Winnipeg’s natural health community. With the help of an athletic scholarship, she was able to expand her health and wellness passion to receive her Bachelor of Science from Norwich University. Following graduation she quickly discovered a growing demand for natural and alternative healthcare and found her way to Naturopathic Medicine.

The profession offered her an opportunity to turn her lifestyle into a passion and career. Once she completed her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, she found her way home to Winnipeg.

She welcomes a variety of different health concerns however she has a special interest in treating digestive complaints, weight loss, athletic performance, and hormones. She believes treating the whole person and finding the root cause is the fundamental backbone of overall wellbeing. Since graduation, Blair has worked with all levels of athletes and teams in both the clinical and field setting. Those experiences include time with the Winnipeg High School Hockey League, the Manitoba Moose Hockey Club and most recently the University of Manitoba Bison Football team. Kolin is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) with the Association of Applied Sport Psychology, and Professional Member with the Canadian Sport Psychology Association. He holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics in Physical Education, and Masters of Education in Coaching Science from the University of British Columbia, a Masters of Business Administration from Athabasca University in St. Albert, and a Doctorate of Education in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon.

Kolin takes an interdisciplinary approach to mental performance combining aspects from the physical, technical, tactical, cognitive, and psychological domains. He uses research and evidence based techniques to create a client centered program to allow clients to build the best version of their career both on and off the field of play.
