Sara Winzinowich graduated from the University of Manitoba’s Master of Physical Therapy Program.

Sara grew up playing many sports, her favorite being ringette. Sara still plays ringette, a sport that emphasizes the values of teamwork, determination, and communication. Her connection to sports fueled her desire to pursue a career in Physiotherapy.

During her academic journey she had the privilege of working with clients of all ages and in various settings in both Manitoba and British Columbia. Sara is familiar with various treatment techniques including manual therapy and exercise therapy. She was also involved with volunteering with Sport Physiotherapy Manitoba, an experience that provided valuable insight into sports rehabilitation. Sara has taught GLAD exercise classes for hip and knee osteoarthritis.

She is thrilled to be joining the team at RINK Testify Performance where she can combine her love of physical activity and passion for helping individuals achieve their goals. When Sara is not at the RINK you can find her playing team sports, camping or spending quality time with her friends and family.

Heath graduated from the University of Manitoba, with his Bachelor of Science (2011), and Bachelor of Kinesiology - Athletic Therapy (2014). While in school, Heath had an internship with the Winnipeg Jets and got to learn from the team’s therapists while working hands on. “At that level, the guys want help from someone they can trust. The players believed in the treatment plans and rehab programs, and the results made them ecstatic to get back on the ice so soon!” He has subsequently built up his resume by working for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers during the 2014 and 2015 seasons as the Assistant Athletic Therapist. “I travelled with the team, and covered all practices and games. It was my job to run out and see to a player if they got injured on the field.” Heath plays tennis 3-4x per week, and by being a part of Testify Taylor, he is well versed on tennis-related injuries. -The thing I want most for people to know is that Athletic Therapists treat more than only athletes.
